Due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in the region and the Province, the community of Metlakatla is now closed to all non-residents, with the exception of essential service staff. Any non-residents in the community will be asked to leave and the docks will be monitored to ensure only residents are accessing Metlakatla. This step is being taken in order to protect our elders and those who live in the community.
Please continue to adhere to all health guidelines including wearing masks, social distancing, frequent handwashing, noting where you have been for contact tracing and limiting gatherings to only those permitted by the Provincial Health Officer.
