The Metlakatla Fisheries Program has access to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Allocation Transfer Program (APT) liscense. These licenses are available to be leased out to the membership.
Metlakatla Fisheries Department has the following commercial liceses:
- Area B crab
- Area C salmon gillnet
- Area A salmon sein
- Prawn - Coast wide
- 2 halibut live/quota (10 k lbs ea)
Metlakatla Development Corporation also manages the following license:
