Metlakatla Stewardship Society is looking for participants for our upcoming Clam Surveys from August 10th to the 14th.
Clam surveys include digging for and identifying clam species, and collecting and processing clams to gather data about clam populations at Metlakatla beaches.
Participants will receive an honorarium for their participation. If you are interested in participating please contact Kristal Johnston at 250-631-7372 or kjohnston@triton-env.com.

The Metlakatla Governing Council has approved a member distribution for all member registered with the Metlakatla First Nation as of July 15, 2022. The distribution amount for each member is as follows:
- Over the age of 18: $100
- Under the age of 18: $25
All members are invited to access these funds by completing this form (download here) and providing the required information by October 2, 2022. If you are having trouble downloading the form, please contact Communications Assistant Jordan Leask at jleask@metlakatla.ca or by calling 250-628-3234 ext.2005.
Payment for each youth under 18 will be processed once. Applications without Status Numbers will be deemed incomplete and payment will be processed every two weeks.
