Thank you to all the Metlakatla members who recently applied for the 1906 Member Distribution. Dates have been confirmed for the 1906 Settlement cheque distribution.
The dates are as follows:
Prince Rupert: Highliner Inn from Monday, April 29, to Thursday, May 2
•Noon to 8 p.m daily.
Metlakatla: Administration Office on Friday, May 3
• 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Vancouver: Hilton Vancouver Downtown from Sunday, May 5, to Tuesday, May 7
• 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 5, Noon to 8 p.m. on May 6/7
Prince George: Coast Inn of the North on May 8 and 9
• Noon – 8 p.m.
Cheque pickups will be handled alphabetically by surname with additional details to follow on the exact timing for each surname in each location.
Please note that applications with non-expired, valid ID must be received by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17 in order to be able to pick your cheque on the dates above.
To complete your application, we require copies of both the front and back of your primary and secondary identification.
- Primary identification must be a valid government-issued ID containing a photo. Examples include a Driver's License, BC Services Card, Provincial Health Card, Passport, or Status Card.
- Secondary identification does not necessarily need to include a photo but must display your name. Examples include a Birth Certificate, BC Care Card, or a current Bank or Credit Card.
