Metlakatla Development Corporation (MDC) and the Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) are developing the South Kaien Logistics Park on fee simple lands in close proximity to DP World’s Fairview Container Terminal.
Metlakatla vessels leave Prince Rupert from the Metlakatla ferry dock located in Cow Bay. If you are travelling by taxi, ask for the Metlakatla ferry dock. If you are walking, there are stairs on the side of the Museum of Northern BC that brings you to the docks. The Ferry dock is the furthest dock from the stairs.

North Co-Corp is a ferry owned by three communities: Hartley Bay, Kitkatla and Metlakatla. The ferry services Hartley Bay, Kitkatla, Metlakatla and Oona River. The North Co-Corp Board of Directors consists of a representative from each of the three communities. Fares and departure times are listed below. Runs leaving Prince Rupert are on a first-come, first-serve basis – reservations cannot be made at this time. The travel times listed are approximate only (weather is always a factor), the ferry arrives in the community unloads passengers and loads new passengers returning immediately to Prince Rupert. Listed below are the ferry schedules on a monthly basis.

Grassy Bay PetroCanada is owned and operated by Metlakatla Development Corporation. The gas station offers the convenience of full-service gasoline and diesel. Self-service is also available and status cards are accepted. Grassy Bay also offers propane.
